The Astronomy department at CSIRO required a space that not only reflected their cutting-edge research but also fostered collaboration and innovation. Balancing aesthetics with functionality, while ensuring the space resonated with the department’s identity, was the primary challenge.
Incorporating the primary colours of white, red, black and green the design exudes a contemporary feel. The choice of colours not only aligns with CSIRO’s branding but also creates an environment that stimulates creativity while ensuring a sense of calmness and focus.
Understanding the diverse needs of the Astronomy department, the space was planned to facilitate both collaborative discussions and focused individual work. Special attention was given to ensuring natural light flow, optimising open spaces, and creating designated zones for meetings and brainstorming.
With a commitment to quality and precision, the Office Fitout Group team ensured that every element of the construction phase was executed to perfection. From the installation of ergonomic furniture to the meticulous alignment of lighting fixtures, every detail was crafted to enhance the overall user experience.
