Having a growing company of 50+ people can present a challenge when looking for the right office space. To meet Atomo’s diverse needs, the fitout had to incorporate a variety of thoughtfully-designed spaces with room for multiple meeting rooms, providing ample opportunities for the team to brainstorm and strategise. Together with Atmos we designed a functional office with the aesthetic and functionality of a warehouse, aiming to inspire even more innovators within its walls.
Embracing the openness of the space, along with the high ceilings, we went for this warehouse-style look with monochromatic accents that give contrast and dimension to the space. Together with Atomo, we set a vision for an inclusive open space whilst keeping each sections purposes in mind. We added carefully curated common areas and co-working space to encourage new ideas, collaboration and promote teamwork and creative research. We also added glass partitions to the space creating bright and open meeting rooms for privacy and focused, confidential discussions. Whilst private booths offered quiet spots for focused work.
Distinct and purposeful, the space is designed with efficiency in mind. The open plan layout is meticulously planned to accommodate their growing venture with a focus on fostering collaboration and a sense of community. The open layout with co-working spaces promotes interaction and connectivity. The common areas were thoughtfully designed to encourage face-to-face interactions and strengthen the connections among team members. We strategically incorporated private meeting rooms and individual booths into the space for focused brainstorming and personal contemplation, maximising idea generation and creativity. The result is an office that not only exudes distinctiveness but also optimises functionality, aligning seamlessly with the company’s vision and growth trajectory.
In eight weeks, we completed the fitout in entirety. The end result is a sleek and contemporary environment that emanates innovation and creativity. This transformation has truly breathed new life into the office, fostering a culture of teamwork and solidarity. Atomo Diagnostics now enjoys a modern haven that captures the essence of their dynamic and forward-thinking spirit, motivating everyone within its walls to push the boundaries and achieve their best.
The entire space was meticulously designed with flexibility, team collaboration, and comfort as the primary focus. Every aspect, from the lighting design and electrical plan to the fixtures and fittings, was carefully considered to create an environment that fosters productivity and collaboration.
Both the elegant meeting rooms and individual booths featuring glass partition walls, serve as versatile spaces that offer both privacy and noise reduction while maintaining a sense of openness. The use of glass also allows for the abundant flow of natural light throughout the area. The meeting fitouts, including hanging lights and clever lighting arrangements, have been carefully designed to facilitate easy document reviewing during day-to-day meetings.
Overall, this space exemplifies a harmonious blend of modernity and professionalism, where functionality meets aesthetics, making it an ideal environment for work, collaboration, and interactions.
With these elements in place, we successfully transformed the space into a true home for the Atomo team. It now offers more than just a workplace; it is now a dynamic hub where employees felt comfortable, motivated, and empowered to push the boundaries of innovation. The open-plan design facilitated seamless communication and teamwork, strengthening the company’s sense of community and driving its success to new heights.
