The Challenge

When converting a warehouse it is so easy to go for the same old cookie-cooker design with an open layout, exposed beams and high ceilings that you can find in any updated warehouse conversion. We knew that wouldn’t cut it for a client wanting an office space that echoed their passion for community and connectivity.

Designing Offices For 20+ Years

1

Design

Breaking down the walls of boring and archaic design, we added a beautiful brick feature wall marrying exquisitely the classic, earthy palette with greenery, natural wood tones, mood lighting, soft furnishing and texture to perfectly combine an industrial warehouse look with a warm, luxurious residential-feel.

2

Space Planning

Incorporating black accents and combining them with glass partitions and large windows works with natural light and creates an illusion of space. Adding partitions helps reimagine the space increasing layout efficiency and creating a natural flow between areas, whilst keeping each section’s purpose in mind.

3

Construction

Our unique Project Management and Early Contractor Involvement in all aspects of the fitout guaranteed a completely tailored end-to-end construction management. We worked with the design team to reconfigure the floor plan, ensuring it fits within the building’s existing, differing dimensional configuration.

Design Highlights

Adding flair, privacy and providing a flexible space to retreat for meetings or taking a break, the beautifully designed office pod is a great space-saving idea made for disruption-free working.

Adding an open plan workspace allows for employee interaction, collaboration and connectivity. Whilst incorporating natural elements such as the office greenery to the low partitions adds a visually-pleasing barrier and helps to create a relaxing and calming environment.

A true statement of lighting design. The beautiful selection of stunningly-unique light installations works artfully together and in harmony with the premium wood materials, bringing depth and warmth to the space. Not just for aesthetics, the lighting design and placement provide a widespread illuminance of light with minimal shadows cast in any of the spaces. The clever lighting layout of warmer yellow or orange lights for areas of relaxing and cooler lights in areas of working, waking up, and concentrating creates a perfect balance between comfort and productivity.

Space-saving storage solutions.

The innovative design of the low partitions with added storage is a diverse, clever space-saving solution allowing employees to keep the area safe and clutter-free.

Welcoming, beautifully-designed meeting room

Creating a cohesive language between practicality, usability and space we took advantage of the office’s wonderful natural lighting to create a light and practical meeting area with glass wall partitions.

Plenty of breakout areas

Light and bright breakout areas with soft, warm and inviting furniture and fittings for staff and visitors. Perfect for small meetings or during breaks to inspire creativity, collaboration and innovation.

Facing Worktables with Ergonomic consideration for Collaboration & comfort

Worktables facing co-workers to inspire conversation, and collaboration and enhance productivity. Adding ergonomic chairs placed at the right level to the table with important resources within easy reach helps avoid muscle strain and adds extra comfort.

Warm and inviting light installations

Clever lighting plan and placement that replaces harsh, outdated led lights with cosy, gentle and relaxing lighting.

Natural elements combining timber & greenery

Premium materials combine natural elements, wood and greenery to help optimize and revitalize the office.
