With a mission to offer beautiful, organic, sustainable and the highest quality luxurious hairdressing experience for their clients to indulge and unwind taking in the tranquillity of the peaceful Sydney Harbour views.

The Challenge

For this unique fitout, the design process, space planning, construction and layout had to be carefully considered to seamlessly integrate with the existing configuration of the beautiful restored historic building. We also knew that the space would be used for a variety of purposes including product launches, training days, seminars and corporate meetings so it had to fit for multi uses.

Design

The creative floor plan, clever lighting design and bespoke fixtures and fittings perfectly combine for a cohesive look. The design echoes the iconic and pays homage to the building’s unique history with a timeless fusion of classic yet modern design. The classic, earthy colour palette marries exquisitely with pops of colour of the vibrant orange and tan leather soft furnishing, black accents, mood lighting, and a combination of texture choices to create a warm, inviting and luxurious residential feel space.

Space Planning

For such a high-traffic multipurpose space we had to ensure we made the most of the space by working with natural light and the soaring ceilings with exposed beams & trusses to increase layout efficiency and allow flow and interconnection throughout the space, whilst keeping each section’s purpose in mind. Our vision extended beyond efficiency, as we aimed to create the ultimate experience for guests. From the basins to the reception area, we carefully curated the layout to offer stunning views of iconic Sydney Harbour through the beautiful heritage windows and from the 25 sqm entertainers balcony, ensuring a perfect setting for any occasion.

Construction

Our unique Project Management and Early Contractor Involvement in all aspects of the fitout guaranteed a completely tailored end-to-end construction management including managing trade personnel and procurement of materials, furniture and fittings. We worked with the construction and design team to reconfigure the floor plan adding multiple mezzanine levels and ensuring it fit within the building’s existing, differing dimensional configuration.

We fitted lie-flat basins on the middle level overlooking the water through the beautiful heritage windows for client and hairdressing training.

Multiple zones for all uses

A quality fitout that includes a boardroom, conference room and multiple mezzanine levels creating breakout and work zones.

Pops of colour with soft and unique furnishing

Soft, warm and inviting furniture to relax and enjoy.

Premium Product shelving

Beautiful natural wood shelving featuring the beautiful, organic and cruelty-free products available.

Space for hairdressing professionals and clients to engage in great conversations and connect.
